All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth

This Christmas, fill in those missing gaps with dental implants.

Christmas is right around the corner and while children are writing out their Christmas Wish Lists to send off to Santa Claus, adults are thinking about what they want too. Perhaps a new grill? Maybe a new couch? Or what about dental implants to finally fill those gaps in your smile? This Christmas, why not fulfill your Christmas Wish and get an implant to fill those missing gaps.

When it comes to getting implants, it’s important to know what kind of implants there are. The two most common implant options include:

  1. 3- Unit Bridge

  2. Single Tooth Implant

Both these options are great for filling in those missing gaps, however, there are some drawbacks.

A 3-Unit Bridge is meticulously constructed to best resemble the teeth’s normal color, however, the adjacent teeth are ground down into pegs to create a support system for the bridge. This, unfortunately, destroys natural enamel and tooth structure.

The better implant option is the Single Tooth Implant. This technological advancement uses titanium screws that replace the natural tooth root and encourages the bone to attach to the implant during the healing process. Unlike the 3- Unit Bridge, adjoining teeth do not need to be modified and it provides enduring aesthetic results. The only drawback of the Single Tooth Implant is that it is a little more expensive than the 3- Unit Bridge.

Thankfully at Dental Innovations of Gallup, we have everything we need to help fulfill your Christmas wish. With a Single Tooth Implant, you will have a full set of teeth just in time for Christmas. Schedule your appointment today!
