Back to School Cleaning

Are your kids’ teeth ready for school?

Year-round dentist visits are very important, but a back-to-school dentist visit is key to fighting the top chronic disease found in children: cavities. Every year, children miss 51 million hours of school due to dental diseases. Scheduling a back-to-school check-up will not only reduce or prevent you child from missing a day or two but can help your child avoid pain, eating troubles, difficulty speaking and school absences.

On top of taking your child to the dentist at the beginning of the school year, it would also be a good time to start getting your child into healthy oral habits. Teach your child the importance of taking extra special care of their teeth and how they can do so, such as…

  • Brushing teeth morning and night for two minutes.
  • How to correctly brush teeth.
  • Flossing once a day.
  • Eating healthy foods and drinking plenty of water.

Oral health starts early, so make sure to get your child into our office today!
